AREA FOR PART 2 :

Formula for area trapezium = ½ ( a + b ) h

= ½ ( 8 + 6 ) 1

= 7cm²

AREA FOR PART 3 :

Formula for rectangle = length x width

= 8 x 2.5

=20cm²

AREA FOR PART 4 :

Formula for trapezium = ½ ( a + b ) h

= ½ (7 + 8) 0.6

= 4.5cm²

AREA FOR PART 5 :

Formula for rectangle = length x width

= 7 x 6

= 42cm²

AREA FOR PART 6 :

Formula for trapezium = ½ (a+b) h

= ½ (7+8) 0.6

= 4.5cm²

AREA FOR PART 7 :

Formula for rectangle = length x width

= 8 x 2.4

= 19.2cm²

AREA FOR PART 8 :

Formula for trapezium = ½ (a+b) h

= ½ (6+8) 1

= 7cm²

TOTAL AREA OF THE MODEL :

= Part 2 + Part 3 + Part 4 + Part 5 + Part 6 +Part 7 + Part 8

= 7cm² + 20cm² + 4.5cm² + 42cm² + 4.5cm² + 19.2cm² + 7cm²

= 104.2cm²
